The London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) company has published its latest international university ranking on 30 October, comparing emerging Eastern European universities and the leading 450 study destinations of Central Asia. 10 different indicators have been assessed for this year’s ranking, including academic and employer reputation and the research impact of each university. The University of Pécs ranked 53rd, by climbing 10 places since last year.

Considering the success of last year’s conference, we decided to host our second annual professional event regarding 3D visualization and printing. This event is unique in Central Europe. The invited lecturers are prominent professionals representing their scientific or artistic work.

Within few months several renowned international university ranking firms have placed the Univesity of Pécs among the world’s top universities.

The University of Pécs with its 18 000 students, more than 3 000 international students from 105 countries, with its 1 500 lecturers and 10 faculties is one of the largest higher education institutions in Hungary. Come to Pécs and be a part of the UP!

Leader of the Erasmus team during the University Days of Pécs, member of the rowers at the PTE Orfű Regatta and driver of the Go Kart team. The 27-years-old Spanish philology student, Sergio Barro Rivera has just finished his BSc studies and having spent a year in Pécs he is already thinking about coming back here for the Master programme.

The latest university ranking was published by the Quacquarelli Symonds Company from London. The University of Pécs also demanded a position for itself as a new participant of the top universities’ list.
