The London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) company has published its latest international university ranking on 30 October, comparing emerging Eastern European universities and the leading 450 study destinations of Central Asia. 10 different indicators have been assessed for this year’s ranking, including academic and employer reputation and the research impact of each university. The University of Pécs ranked 53rd, by climbing 10 places since last year.

The University of Pécs was listed as one of the best higher education institutions this year as well, with five other Hungarian universities. The University of Pécs managed to improve its rank in comparison to last year, achieving the 701-750th place according to the British company. Considering Hungarian universities, the University of Pécs shares the third place with Eötvös Loránd University.
The Quacquarelli Symonds Company of London has published its latest university rating, according to which the University of Pécs can demand an excellent position for itself among the top universities. This year the UP was ranked on the 751-800th position as the 5th best Hungarian university.
