The voices for Hospices events use the voice to raise funds and awareness for hospice and palliative care . These events could be concerts from any musical genre, poetry events, drama evenings or spoken word. The multi-choir event event will take place on 11 October 2014 at the Dr. Romhányi György Aula in Pécs.
On the ocassion of World Tourism Day, the university and the city organised the St. Michael’s Day Torch Procession for the first time, a very unique initiative to highlight the most beautiful buildings and the fascinating history of Pécs in a special way.
The "Leonardo, the Renaissance Genius", also called the exhibition of the year in Pécs opened in April this year and can be visited until 30. October. The city government decided that from 1 September the students of the university will receive further discount on the ticket, so they can visit the exhibition at half price, for 500 HUF.
The first edition of the Festival of Medical Students and Doctors (Hungarian abbreviation: MOF) was organised between the 26th and the 30th of June, 2014 at the Lake Balaton. The colourful festival was carried out by the UP Medical School.
