900 pancakes filled with nutella, cocoa-powder, jam, cinnamon, cottage cheese were served for the students on Pancake Day (on Tuesday 17th of February) at the Medical School of the University of Pécs. It was the second Charity Pancake Day organized by an enthusiastic group of students.
Voices for Hospices is a wave of simultaneous concerts around the globe which takes place on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day every two years. The objective of the event is to raise funds and awareness for hospice and palliative care around the world.

The voices for Hospices events use the voice to raise funds and awareness for hospice and palliative care . These events could be concerts from any musical genre, poetry events, drama evenings or spoken word. The multi-choir event event will take place on 11 October 2014 at the Dr. Romhányi György Aula in Pécs.
The Medical School joined the national "Köszikávé" Day charity initiative on Friday 26. September.
One of the most awaited, annually organised international events of the University of Pécs took place in the EXPO Centre on the 5th of April. The organisers, the English-German Student Council and the Medical School of the UP demonstrated again: there is a perfect combination of charity and entertainment; and it is called International Evening!
