International Spring Programmes in April.
PTE Jubilee Locomotive was introduced to the public at the Western Railway Station on the 30th of March, which celebrates in this way the 650th Anniversary of the foundation of the first Hungarian university.
As part of our internationalization strategy, the Centre for International Relations has been developing a new ’Summer Trimester’ that includes all the summer courses organized by our Faculties or by the Centre for International Relations. The University of Pécs is working on offering a growing number of Summer Schools to our international, Hungarian and incoming students.
International Spring with colorful programmes at the end of the March:
Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development of the University of Pecs hosted an International Partner Meeting within the framework of “Partenariats Strategiques European Manager In Social Economy EMISE+ (Project N˚:2015-1-FR01-KA202-015238)” between March 8-10, 2017.
On the 16th of March, 2017 the University of Pécs held the festive event of giving away new doctorary certificates. On this festive occassion 30 doctorary certificates were handed over by the leadership of the Universirty.
Doctor Honoris Causa title, Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa title, Ministry Award, Decan Emeritus title, Professor Emerita title, honorary associate professor, honorary assistant professor and habilitated doctor degrees were conferred at the ceremonial meeting of the Senate of the University of Pécs held in the Liszt Ferenc Concert Hall on 16th March.
More than 3800 international students coming from 105 countries study at the University of Pécs. Our knowledge about their culture and country is often superficial and deficient or even nothing we know.
University of Pécs and Ohio University has launched the International Video Pitch Competition (IVP) in 2013 to allow student in the two ecosystems to interact with each other and to receive valuable feedback on their entrepreneurial initiatives from an internationally diverse group of experts.
