Dear fellow students, friends and visitors from all over the world, we are happy to invite you to the biggest event of the year, INTERNATIONAL EVENING 2016!

Professor Dr. Geza J. Jako was a world famous surgeon, physician scientist, professor, inventor, educator.  He was the inventor of soft tissue microsurgery, laser surgery, modern techniques of minimally invasive surgery, and a White House Advisor for Cancer to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.  He passed away on November 1st. He was 85.

I’m 23 years old and I’m studying general medicine at the Medical School of the University of Pécs. The opening ceremony of the Medical School was a decisive experience for me: at that moment I realized that a completely new chapter of my life had just started!

The children could familiarize themselves with medical environment, the course and the tools of medical examinations during the Teddy Bear Family Day on 18 April, 2015.

Graduating medical students could take part in a course for development of communication skills. The goal of the course is to increase the quality of the doctor-patient relationship and to develop the efficiency of communication.

We would like to infrom you that the International Studies Center of the Medical School has moved to the Dohány Street 1-3.
