UP 3D project - I. International interdisciplinary 3D conference
The University of Pécs (UP) is among the top 1000 universities of the world according to the 2015 ranking list Webometrics (Ranking Web of World Universities). The Webometrics ranking list (http://www.webometrics.info/en/world )is based on the web visibility of the universities and it is published twice a year.
The UP has always been famous for its outstanding research performance. Therefore, we have launched a series of researcher portraits in order to present diversity, results and opportunities of the scientific work carried out at the UP. On this episode of the video series made by the UP Universitas Television, Dr. Mihály Attila Peti, researcher at the Medical School is going to introduce an exciting area of his discipline.
The EUROPA CANTAT choir festival, one of the most important cultural events in Europe, ended with the common singing of 5,000 chorister and thousands of people from Pécs on 1st August.

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has published its latest 2015 ranking list. The University of Pécs secured a position for itself among the world’s thousand top universities as well. Ranked as 893th means that the UP keeps its position and therefore still belongs to the leading 3,6% of international higher education institutions worldwide!
