The Miklós Iványi International PhD & DLA Symposium is organized because it is thought that PhD & DLA students in engineering, architecture and information technology areas need a special forum in addition to their PhD & DLA programmes to present the results of their ongoing research. The past International PhD Symposia were organized between 2005-2015 and it will be important to continue this tradition.

Considering the success of last year’s conference, we decided to host our second annual professional event regarding 3D visualization and printing. This event is unique in Central Europe. The invited lecturers are prominent professionals representing their scientific or artistic work.

Jolán Kubányi, president of the Hungarian Dietetic Association, got her MSc from the University of Pécs, and is currently the head of the Association. We talk about eating habits of the young, some extremes, diets and health.

The annual national conference held by the Hungarian Ophthalmologiacal Society is the single most important gathering of the Hungarian ophthalmologists.

Each year, the Department of Historical Collections of the University Library arranges a temporary exhibition sampling the rich material of the Klimo Library, an encyclopedic collection of early printed matters and books, founded by Bishop György Klimo in 1774.
