University Days of Pécs 2015 was a huge success
The city was in a fever because of the traditional festival of the students from Pécs, nearly 22 thousand people took part in the different programs of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter during the four days. The teams of the student rector elections have been the part of our daily life for more than two months.

The Zsolnay Cultural Quarter already performed well during the Zsolnay Festival and University Days last year and visitors couldn’t be disappointed in the scene qualified Hungaricum this year, either.
The organizers of the festival have choosen the performers from a variety of styles, and according to the feedbacks, they succeeded to meet the needs of both the students and the citizens.
However, University Days of Pécs is more than a simple festival: the event is unimaginable without the student rector elections. This year was the first time when also a team from foreign student took part in the race: they wormed their way into the heart of the audience immediately. The teams have solved lots of tasks during the two and a half month. The competition was very close: despite the several hundred obtainable points, the first place depended on only 3 points.
The winner of the student rector elections was the team of the Faculty of Science, the „AsPENix és a gallok”, the team of the Faculty of Business and Economics, PENegyerekek got the second place and the team of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, PENtagon won the third place.
At the end of the festival an important information came to light: Gyula Takács, president of the UP Student Council announced that University Days of Pécs will be held also in 2016!
