The UP Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development has been established

On 25 June, 2015 the Senate of the University of Pécs (UP) accepted the proposal for the establishment of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development.
The new faculty comes into being from 1 September 2015 with the integration of the UP Faculty of Adult Education and Human Resources Development and the Illyés Gyula Faculty of the UP, preserving the intellectual and cultural values and traditions created by the legal predecessor faculties. The current students of the Illyés Gyula Faculty and the Faculty of Adult Education and Human Resources Development can finish their studies in the same major where they started them.
During the integration phase the current courses in Szekszárd and Pécs will continue, besides them the initiation of new educational programmes will also be possible.
