Prestigious awards for the Clinical Centre of the UP
The XXXIV. Medicine TOP conference and the V. Health Ministers - State Secretaries Summit were recently held in Budapest. At this event were awarded health institutions with outstanding performance in 2016. The Clinical Centre has won the ‘Award for Excellent University’, while the First Department of Internal Medicine has won the ‘Award for Excellent Cardiology Center’.

The ‘Figyelő TOP-200’ publication was presented at the event, which contains the ranking lists of the Hungarian health institutions and companies. In connection with this publication were awarded recognitions for the health institutions with outstanding performance.

The award was taken over by dr. Andor Sebestyén, director of the Clinical Centre, who thanked for the recognition and emphasized that the professionalism and conscientious work of the 3000 employees of the Clinical Centre were acknowledged with this award. The award of the 1st Department of Internal Medicine was taken over by dr. Tóth Kálmán, vice rector for science and innovation. Tóth Kálmán also thanked for the award and highlighted that besides the European-scale acute care of heart attack the conditions of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation should also be improved in our country.
