Dear first-year student!
We are delighted that you have chosen the University of Pécs. Let us congratulate you on your successful preliminary.
You can now start you studies at the first University of Hungary, which was founded by King Louis the Great in 1367.
Our institution is going to celebrate its 650th anniversary next year and we are planning to organise a series of events that might be of interest to the people living within and beyond the borders of our country. As a student of our University, you have the possibility to take active part in our celebration.
It might seem premature, however, we consider it important to note that our former graduates are doing extremely well both in the domestic and in the international labour markets, so we are convinced that the value of your diploma will be confirmed by the knowledge gained at the University of Pécs.
We suggest that, besides your studies, you also spend time on yourself, on your friends from the University and on the freetime activities offered by the University of Pécs.
Our studies show that those who have already graduated at the University of Pécs look back to this period as the best years of their lives. The active student life of the University of Pécs, its lecturers and researchers guarantee this experience for you, as well.
