University of Pécs & North China University of Science and Technology Cooperation

The president and his delegation of the North China University of Science and Technology (NCUST) visited the University of Pécs on 9 October.

The aim of the visit was to strengthen and further develop the cooperation and professional collaboration between the two higher education institutions. The partners signed three contracts: one general framework contract, one memorandum of understanding about the establishment of a Hungarian Studies Institute at NCUST, and one contract concerning the future operation of the Confucius Institute.

The cooperation between the two universities has always been strong: last spring they brought an amazing collection of herbs to Pécs, and many colleagues of NCUST have worked at the Confucius Institute at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs, or are working here currently.
