Huge international success of the Béla Bartók Male Choir in China

188 choirs of 43 countries participated in the 12th China International Chorus Festival, where the Béla Bartók Male Choir led by Tamás Lakner, dean of the UP Faculty of Music and Visual Arts and Liszt-prize holder choirmaster won the first place.

Also the award for the best conductor was conferred upon Tamás Lakner, who even held a workshop at the University of Beihang about the achievements of the famous Hungarian composer and musician, Zoltán Kodály.
