The event is part of the PTE 650 Jubilee celebration of the University of Pécs.
The use of herbs is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. In China, different herbs have been used for centuries to cure illnesses or specific physical and spiritual sensations stemming from abnormalities or malfunction.
Several herbs (such as the dandelion or the prunella) or garden flowers (such as the magnolia or the forsythia) known in the Western world have been used as medicine extensively in China. These
herbs were carefully mapped out in the Eastern world and were found to treat many conditions. (This same research is quite limited in the Western world.)
