The PTE University Library won "Classified Library" title
The University Library and Knowledge Centre of the University of Pécs won "Classified Library" title. Six libraries in Hungary have won this prestigious award since 2011.
The institutes winning "Classified Library" title are entitled to use the title for 5 years.

Dr. Ágnes Dárdai Dr. Fischerné, director-general of the University Library and Knowledge Centre of the University of Pécs took over the "Classified Library" price in the Vigadó in Pest, 22.01.2016.
The library received the title in recognition of introduction of quality assurance system expanding each filed of its library activity.

"It is an honor for us to receive this honorary title, which recognized the conscientious work of all of my colleagues. In my opinion besides the "Classified Library" title it is also a very positive confirmation of our work that our library is very popular among the students, as well. In the examination period our reading room is filled with students already from early morning and they study for their examinations here until late at night" - told Dr. Ágnes Dárdai Dr. Fischerné.
