Just standing and listening to…
Let's try to experience the feeling when you have to take photos of a concert but you totally forget about it because you are just standing with the camera in your hand and listening to the songs that the musicians play and the singers sing.
That happened with me 4th November in the House of Literature and Arts where Ruth Keggin (from Isle of Man) and Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin (from Ireland) in the
cooperation with Simply English had a concert. The voice of the singers – Ruth, Eoghan and Andy C. Rouse – is not only amazing but also touches your soul; it does not matter if you do not understand the lyrics – some of them were in Manx and in Irish –, you will obtain new feelings. The music in live is the best, of course, but the harmony of the different musical instruments can entirely calm you down. The program was organized the event 'called British Autumn' where – besides the concert – we could also hear a lecture about the Isle of Man and the culture of this island.
