Scientific paper of UP researchers was cited by the UN

In 2016 406 related articles were quoted by the newly published report of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on the topic of the ozone layer depletion and the climate change.
Two of them are publications of Hungarian researchers. Both of them are based on the results of a research by the Faculty of Sciences Department of Plant Biology on the effects on plants caused by UV radiation. The quoted articles of Gyula Czégény research assistant and Éva Hideg professor by the UNEP report were written in cooperation with Swedish and Irish researchers, they were earlier published in FEBS Letters and in Trends in Plant Sciences journals.
