Rector's Greeting

A warm welcome to all of our freshmen, students, final-year students in the academic year 2018/19 on behalf of the leadership of the university and myself.

I hope that after the enjoyable and useful summer months you all enter our university and our city refreshed, with renewed enthusiasm and professional curiosity.

I can promise: our professors, researchers as well as our staff will do everything in order to enable You to study and conduct research under the ideal conditions.

With its unique atmosphere, the beauty of nature and fascinating cultural values, our city offers you an excellent environment for your studies.

I encourage all of you, as citizens of our university, to pay attention to each other, and the values surrounding us, as you have done in past: to the city, the good relationship with the people of Pécs.
