The latest university ranking: The University of Pécs belongs to the elit
The latest university ranking was published by the Times Higher Education from London and the University of Pécs has obtained the 2nd highest ranking among the universities in Hungary!
World University Rankings 2018 by subject: clinical, pre-clinical and health. The 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ table for clinical, pre-clinical and health subjects employs the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields. It highlights the universities that are leading medicine, dentistry and health subjects. This year’s ranking has expanded to include 500 institutions, up from 100 last year.
The University of Pécs plans to achieve significant improvements within the framework of the Modern Cities Programme in the near future. The goal is to improve the national and international competitiveness of the university and increase the number of international students. In the latter case it is visible that the UP reached an important milestone with the 4000th number, because the ultimate goal is to achieve number 5000 by 2020.
