Europa University Viadrina’s delegation at the FBE
The Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from Europa University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.
Professor Jochen Koch, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Frank Rudovsky Factuly General Manager and Torsten Glase Deputy Head of International Affairs paid a visit on campus on the 16th and 17th of March.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the current state of the cooperation and identifying the ways and means of how to further develop it. The program of the delegation consisted of several meetings amongst others with the management of the Faculty, the representatives of the Simonyi Business and Economic Development Center and further colleagues. The main areas of the discussions covered amongst others the launch of a joint German taught program, which could be an important development for both parties for our faculty; possible collaboration in the field of entrepreneurship and research.
Although the two institutions have a long history of cooperation and we are proud that one of our faculty member, professor Vörös is Honoris Causa Doctor at the Europa University of Viadrina personal meetings always bring extra boost to the existing collaboration. We hope that new initiatives will be carried out and added to the range of cooperative activities thanks to this visit.
