The event is part of the PTE 650 Jubilee celebration of the University of Pécs.
The Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine has been operating for the last two years at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Health Sciences. One of the main goals of the Institute is to popularize traditional Chinese medicine through education and familiarization. The North China University of Science and Technology, a partner university, contributes largely to the Confucius Institute’s work, even donating the current exhibition pieces. These dried plants are all considered herbal medicines in China and have been used since ancient times; some of these herbs can be found in Europe as well. Moreover, more and more of these Chinese herbs reach other parts of the world due to globalization
