3rd International Interdisciplinary 3D Conference

The University of Pecs’ 3rd International Interdisciplinary 3D Conference presents contemporary use and techniques of 3D printing technology. This year’s conference is entitled, „Biomedical Use of 3D Printing,” originating from an interdisciplinary aspect.

Fantasztikus? Tudományos! – A jövő két napig látogatható lesz a 3D konferencián

Notably, the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts, chaired by Dr. György Fusz, has successfully planned the upcoming Design Week to coincide with the Annual 3D Print Conference. Honored guests include current 3D Print and Corporate representatives and attendee participation is naturally encouraged and welcomed with respect to the planned events, in which several interesting and motivating presentations describing the elementary basics of 3D Print Technology will be discussed. Our programs are considered unique since the admission is free, and only minor registration is required.

This year, the 3D Print Conference organizers expect an increase in foreign guests than compared with similar events of the past. One of our esteemed guests is the award-winner, Ms. Amy Karle (https://www.amykarle.com/about/)! Attendees can also meet the Accounting Manager from „Materialize!”, Mr. Simon Vanooteghem, and a radiologist from the respectable Basel based 3D Lab, Mr. Philipp Brantner.

One predominant characteristic of 3D Print Technology is the potential for revolutionary changes to spread throughout various scientific fields. The University of Pecs, clearly demonstrates this diversity remarkably well. During this year’s event, several notable and respected international and national presenters will demonstrate how today’s advances in 3D Print Technology is on the cusp of revolutionizing both industry and the fine arts. Today’s achievements, with respect to 3D Print Technology and its support to medical procedures, were deemed largely unimaginable just several years ago, yet today, researchers are finding it now entirely possible to generate ideal results utilizing 3D Print Technology.

Listed below are several representative achievements and future objectives with regards to 3D Print Technology which will be presented at our upcoming 3D Print Technology Conference.
