The event is part of the PTE 650 Jubilee celebration of the University of Pécs.
Iranian students make up a large percentage of foreign students at the University of Pécs and this celebration introduces the cultural values of this region. With help of artistic and culinary delights, participants have the opportunity to celebrate the Persian New Year, considered the first day of the year in Iran. March 21st marks the first day of the month Ferverdin, the beginning of the year according to the Persian calendar.
