Special summer school for Chinese students at the University of Pécs
The Centre for International Relations has begun the implementation of the Summer Trimester set in the University of Pécs Internationalization Program. As part of this, a special summer school is organized by the Centre for International Relations in cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities between 10 July and 4 August 2017.
35 Chinese students participate in the program from the Hangzhou Normal University and will study Anglistics and Pedagogy during the 4 weeks. The academic programmes are provided by the Faculty of Humanities, while the freetime activities are organized and all the organizational tasks are accomplished by the University of Pécs Centre for International Relations.
The opening event of the summer school took place at the faculty conference room of the BTK (Faculty of Humanities) on the 10th of July. On this occasion the participants were greeted by Dr. Márta Bognárné Erdős vice dean, then the university and the programme were introduced Dr. Gyöngyi Pozsgai, International Relations Co-ordinator of the Centre for International Relations.
During their stay the Chinese students are supported by a mentor team of Hungarian and Chinese students of the University.
