English-German Student Council
As a collective of all students of the English and German medical programmes, EGSC forms the voice of the international students at Medical School. Their aim is to establish a perfect atmosphere between students and teachers. Furthermore, they are now closely cooperating with the Hungarian Student Council (HÖK) to provide a healthy intercultural exchange between the Hungarian, English and German students which all sides can benefit from.
English Student Service Center
It follows and monitors the full admission process from application to enrolment for the international applicants of the English Program in General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. It provides support for the English Program Committee by carrying out administrative tasks concerning the decision-making process, ensuring the daily contact with the recruiting companies and foreign representative.
International Studies Centre
The ISC offers Hungarian as a foreign language courses, English language preparatory courses for different studies and the traditional and popular intensive courses organized in every summer and winter.
Centre for Hungarian Studies and Applied Linguistics
This is the department where you can learn Hungarian as a foreign language. They offer classes in general language development from beginner to advanced levels, with a focus on communicative skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
Foreign Language Centre
The Foreign Language Centre is a university unit independent of all faculties, offering a variety of foreign language services to interested students. All year long language courses are organised in the languages of the European Union and the neighbouring countries.
AEGEE-Pécs
One of the biggest European Student Organisations which is present in Pécs, offering a wide variety of professional and leisure programmes for both Hungarian and international students. These events give a good opportunity to meet local people, make new friends and gain memorable experiences.
ESN Pécs
The community is a non-profit group of volunteer students studying at the University of Pécs. By organising various international events for exchange/Erasmus students like country presentations and sightseeing, our aim is to create convenient conditions for better cultural understanding of various nations and national customs and to contribute actively to European integration.
AIESEC
The largest global student-run organisation has over 60,000 members from 110 countries. AIESEC is focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development through training global citizens to change the world and to get experience and skills that matter today.
